Carlos Huerta just installed my new Amarr garage door. He arrived on time, explained what he was installing and made sure I was getting what I ordered. Since Carlos was by himself, I ask if he needed my assistance to unload. He said thank you, and politely said he was fine and did not need my assistance. He said he has been doing this for over 10 years and has a routine down. Being a bit skeptical, I observed Carlos as he unloaded the truck; he totally impressed me as he carefully unloaded and set up his workstation. At that point I went inside and waited.
I purchased a 16x7 Heritage 3000, insulated, dark brown color door, with a LiftMaster 6690L opener. I also opted for the whisper kit instead of the standard metal hinges; these hinges are made of hard plastic no metal-to-metal contact to cause that annoying noise we all hate.
As a comparison, I downloaded a decibel meter and took a reading of my old door. The db reading was between 70 to 90db. My new door is reading between 30 to 40db, that is basically background noise level, it's amazing the difference.
If you are in the market for a new garage door I suggest you visit the showroom and test all the doors and openers they have on display.

Art did a great job, Great communication. On time, replaced both springs and lubed everything up. Tested and made sure everything worked correctly and asked if I had any other questions. I would highly recommend

Very happy I contacted this company for my garage repair. They were on it. Called in the morning and was there by noon. Mike the technician did a great job. Was professional and efficient. Changed springs in a very short time frame. Cost was exactly what others were asking, but they were able to come the same day and get my garage working

Today Art from Design Arrears fixed our garage spring that broke yesterday. One day wait-great response time!
Art has been with DA for years and knows a lot about Garage door repair. He fixed ours in about 30". GREAT service; and also Art is very personable.
Not only did he fix our door quickly, but he also reviewed the other door parts and suggested parts we should keep an eye on. Furthermore, he gave me several helpful ideas on Maintenance to keep our door in good working order.
BTW-Art was very helpful, and not pushy about possible future repairs. Wasn't trying to upsell me. No pressure to get some of those parts fixed today/ASAP.
Art and DA get an A+ from me on their work and service.
I would highly recommend Art and DA to my friends and family.
